Broward-Miami Health Institute NCLEX Remediation courses are for students who qualify via Florida Board of Nursing, including:

  1. Students who did not pass NCLEX 3 consecutive times.
  2. Students who have not held a license or practiced in the past 5 years (applying for licensure by endorsement) will require a letter of authorization to complete the clinical component of the remedial course.
  3. Students who have been a nurse internationally and are seeking licensure in Florida.

To begin the remedial course, you must obtain a letter from the Florida Board of Nursing, please email MQA.NursingAppStatus@flhealth.gov. Applicants will be notified by the Licensure Unit of this requirement.

How long is the course? 8 weeks

When are classes held? Classes are every Tuesday/Thursday night

When is the next class? Classes start weekly, every Tuesday on a rolling basis, why wait?

When are clinicals? Clinicals are in-person and online (must either do half online or all 96 hours in person)

What is the cost? Cost is $1800 total ($150.00 Registration Fee, $1650.00 Lecture/Clinical Tuition,
