Medical Coding & Billing (Online)

The Medical Billing and Coding program is designed to train the student for an entry-level position as a medical billing specialist, medical coding specialist, and for a variety of positions in the health information field. This program will allow graduates to function effectively as an integral member of the physician’s healthcare team.

Patient Care Technician

The Patient Care Technician program prepares students with the knowledge and hands-on training required for patient care related careers. Upon successful completion of the program students are prepared to perform entry level technical and personal care skills for patients in nursing homes, hospitals, healthcare, or medical facilities.

Medical Assistant

This program prepares students with the knowledge and hands-on training required to start a career as an entry-level Medical Assistant. Job opportunities are in high demand in professional clinics, medical offices, hospitals, and outpatient facilities.

American Heart Association (BLS/CPR/ACLS/PALS)

This course is designed to give the student the ability to recognize several life-threatening emergencies, provide CPR, use an AED, and relieve choking in a safe, timely and effective manner.

Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) Course

The AHA’s ACLS course builds on the foundation of lifesaving BLS skills, emphasizing the importance of continuous, high-quality CPR. Reflects science and education from the American Heart Association Guidelines Update for CPR and Emergency Cardiovascular Care (ECC).

Basic Life Support (BLS Course)

The AHA’s course trains participants to promptly recognize several life-threatening emergencies, give high-quality chest compressions, deliver appropriate ventilations and provide early use of an AED. Reflects science and education from the American Heart Association Guidelines Update for CPR and Emergency Cardiovascular Care (ECC).

Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS)

The PALS Provider Course aims to improve outcomes for pediatric patients by preparing healthcare providers to effectively recognize and intervene in patients with respiratory emergencies, shock, and cardiopulmonary arrest by using high‐performance team dynamics and high‐quality individual skills.
