Challenging the exam means registering for and sitting the Florida CNA competency exam directly — without completing a full training course. Students who pass receive their CNA certification, the same credential earned through a full program. Florida allows up to three challenge attempts before requiring full course enrollment.
The CNA Exam Prep program at Broward-Miami Health Institute provides targeted, in-person tutoring for students who are ready to challenge the Florida CNA competency exam. A Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) plays a crucial role in providing direct patient care across hospitals, nursing homes, assisted living facilities, and home care settings. CNAs assist patients with essential daily activities, monitor health conditions, and serve as a primary point of contact between patients and clinical staff.
In Florida, demand for CNAs remains strong and consistent — driven by an aging population and an expanding network of long-term care and senior living facilities. For compassionate, people-oriented individuals, this is a career with real daily impact and clear pathways for advancement into higher-level nursing roles.
