2022–2032
Medical Assistants are among the fastest-growing healthcare occupations in the United States. According to the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics, employment of medical assistants is projected to grow 15% from 2022 to 2032 — much faster than the national average — driven by expanding physician offices, outpatient care centers, and multi-specialty clinics.
The dual administrative and clinical skill set of a Certified Medical Assistant makes graduates highly employable across a wide range of healthcare settings. MAs who complete phlebotomy and EKG training — as included in BMHI's program — are particularly sought after in multi-specialty and high-volume outpatient practices.
